Meet Val’s Replacement: Denise Vasi
Sad to say but it is officially offical, Stacey Dash is not apart of the Single Ladies Show any longer and neither is her character Val apparently. I am saddened by this because out of each of the main characters, I connected the most with Val. Definitely feel like I’m the Val in my life from time to time. 
Shortly after the shows first season ended, it was announced that Stacy would no longer be apart of the show and the rumors began to swirl as to which Hollywood black actress would step up and fill the very stylish shoes of Val. Many fans were hoping for people like Megan Good, Robin Givens, Elise Neal, Brandy, Gabrielle Union or maybe even Ms. Kelly Rowland. Now the spectualtion can cease because the shows producers have decided to move forward with the chacter Val, replacing her with a Raquel.
Raquel is a good friend of Keishaâs (Lisa Raye) who is known to be a smart, business savvy woman from a prominent Southern family. Sheâs in Atlanta on a quest to discover new passions and links up with Keisha and April (Charity Shea). - Necole Bitchie
I am not sure that I even want to give this girl a chance. Could we have least got a storyline that lead Val out of the picture. Now she is up and gone and we just have to deal. Giving me flashbacks of the Girlfriends fiasco. Denise is from the soap opera “All My Children”. *kanye shrugs* C’mon VH1. She is absolutely gorgeouse though.
